GETTING RID OF EXTRA SCROLL BARS IN IE?
I've just created two new sites for clients who prefer the look of <iframe>'s
and the problem I'm having is that Internet Explorer for Windows adds an
unnecessary horizontal scrollbar the bottom of the iframe.
I've made sure that all of the content meant to fit into these windows was
sized correctly so as to not require a horizontal scroll, but it still adds the
bar even though there is no use for it. The window cuts nothing off
horizontally, yet the bar is still there!
How do I remedy this? Is it something that can be done in the code or is this
something that just can't be helped?
Here's the sites I'm having the problem with: http://www.spioradmusic.com/ and
http://www.timberridgemusic.com/
This problem doesn't occur when using Firefox, IE for Mac, Safari, and
Netscape - only with IE windows.
I'm self taught with Dreamweaver, so it's more than possible that I missed
something along the way.
Thanks in advance!!
