Gigantic Pasteboard blues

Hi everyone
I'm using OSX, CS2

I don't know what I've done, but my pasteboard has grown huge, around 15 times the depth of my page (A5).

I've checked the 'guides and pasteboard' area in the preferences and in the pasteboard options box it says 25.4mm (the default?)
I'm very confused, but it is rather annoying because it means I cannot reduce my view and look at many pages at the same time.

Any thoughts anyone..?

Is there an acronym for "You would have an answer already if you had searched these forums"?

Export as interchange format and re-open that.

Its one of those things that happen occasionally to an InDesign file that can be repaired by the interchange format.
