Gigsnews, newsguy or astroweb - which one? - Mac Networking

I'm currently using Gigsnews, but the others are a lot cheaper. Does anyone have any suggestions/comments concerning their service/reliability/etc. Are there others than the three I mentioned? heron -- Nature, heron stone to be commanded, heonstonecomcast.net must be obeyed. mywebpages.comcast.net/heronstone...

My ISP uses Supernews.

I use newsreader.com and am generally satisfied.

heron,

I have been using Newsguy for about three years now and highly recommend them.
Very reliable, complete, and excellent retention. You may not need it but they
give you a lot of neat features like a newsgroup web interface with search
engine, mailboxes, web space, and others.

I have never heard of astroweb but have tried Giganews before. They are pretty
good but like you mention they are way overpriced.

I'm currently using Giganews and the main reason why I like them over
other services is speed and reliability. I found Newsguy much too slow
for some reason, even with a cable modem. Giganews is just as fast, if
not faster, than the usenet feed that my ISP provides.

Heron, I'm quite impressed with Supernews which I've been using for the
past week.
