Gigsnews, newsguy or astroweb - which one?
I'm currently using Gigsnews, but the others are a lot cheaper.
Does anyone have any suggestions/comments concerning their
service/reliability/etc.
Are there others than the three I mentioned?

I have been using Newsguy for about three years now and highly recommend them.
Very reliable, complete, and excellent retention. You may not need it but they
give you a lot of neat features like a newsgroup web interface with search
engine, mailboxes, web space, and others.
I have never heard of astroweb but have tried Giganews before. They are pretty
good but like you mention they are way overpriced.

other services is speed and reliability. I found Newsguy much too slow
for some reason, even with a cable modem. Giganews is just as fast, if
not faster, than the usenet feed that my ISP provides.
