Global asa Versus #include - ASP Database

Hi guys, Which do you prefer when storing a db connection string for an application. Place it in a global.asa file or have it in a include file. I have been using both for some time...just wondering what everyone else does!! AJ...

    Hi guys,

Place it in a global.asa file or have it in a include file.

In my opinion, it would be storing it in an Application variable.

Application("AppConnString") = "..Connection string goes here"

I use an #include file, merely because it is easier to change. If you
change the global.asa file on a busy site, you might inadvertently disrupt a
lot of user sessions (the application restarts when it detects a change in
    global.asa).

Plus, on many sites, you may find more than one database connection
string. Seems to happen on a lot of sites that add a canned product
to an exisitng custom database design. Depends on database naturally.
