Global Macros in EXCEL - Macromedia Dreamweaver

Hi, I am writing a simple VB macro in excel to work along with some of my database reports... The problem is, I want it available everytime I open excel, not in a particular file only. I read somewhere that to do that, I'd have to edit the Personal.xls file. I did, and added my macro to that, and yes, it seems to appear in every new workbook. however, if I try to open two new excel files at once, I get a warning saying that: PERSONAL.XLS is locked for editing by Jordan Marton.     Default Global Macros in EXCEL

    Hi, I am writing a simple VB macro in excel to work along with some of my

    How can I avoid this? Is there another way to accomplish what I awnt to do?

    You should not get that if you open both in the same instance of
    Excel.
