Grab not available from Services menu - Mac Applications & Software

    I see. I'd think it would make more sense to leave the entire item out
    when it is out of context instead of greying it out.

    And, maybe I'm a bit dim, but doesn't this also mean I can't make a
    screenshot of an *active* application window of say Safari?

    But these are the Mac OS 9 shortcuts! I just assumed they were gone...

    No, because you can still use command shift 3 & 4.
