    Default Gradient radar

    Hello,

    I don't know if it is possible but can anyone tell me hou to make a rotating gradient like a radar
    (a triangle with gradient fill rotating around one point making a circle)

    Unfortunately, Flash does not support that type of gradient.

    If your graphic is small, you could create it in another program, export it as PNG, and import it.

    Ya' beat me to it Chris. I made one exactly like yours a couple of year
    ago. Quite simple actually. Took all of 2 minutes. (OK, I'm slow)

    not sure why it must be "circular"? flash can make radial gradients - i could edit it to be a radial gradient with similar results. true it's not as authentic as what you could do with a different program - but essentially this is a *radar* and as close as you could get in flash - i could spend more than 2 minutes and make it look even better. it's just a start.

    Cool!
    OK, now to complicate things a bit, is there a way to sweep in a new image too? Anfyflash has an example, but I prefer the gradient "arm"...
