Gradient Shifting
Hi
My problem today is pertaining to gradients.
I have a linear gradient in Ai10 fading from white to a light green. The gradient is in a curved shape on a logo. The problem is when I scale this shape down, the gradient inside the shape moves position and does not look like the original.
Can anyone shed some light on what may be happening?
thx

Re: Gradient Shifting
Sorry, I cant't test this until Monday on my AI10.03 at work. Right now I'm on AI9 and can't reproduce your situation.
Maybe you can explain more about the design. Is it just a curved closed path? Is there any masks involved?
If you just make a circle and fill it with a gradient, then try to scale that, does it stay the same?

Re: Gradient Shifting
DEE,
Thanks for you response.
I think I have fixed th problem. I flattemed the transparency on the gradient shape and that seemed to kick it into working properly..thanks
