I work for a printer and we take in a lot of different files in many different programs. Some I am more versed in than others. I have hit a wall on one here. We have Illustrator for the Mac and a customer wants to make changes on chart files that are EPS, done in Illustrator, and then imported into Quark. When I open the EPS in Illustrator I see the chart just as it appears in Quark on the page with tints, backgrounds, etc., then off to the pasteboard I see a simpler version of the chart with just the x and y axis info and numbers (nothing design wise like on the page.) I have spent some time here and and looked in help. I have figured out how to change the info on the chart that appears on the pasteboard but cannot figure out how to apply it to the one on the actual illustrator page (the one that looks like it does when imported into quark). Is there away to do this or is it common for people to make these graphs and just use them as a guide? I am unable to ask the customer as she is new and doesn't know anything at all, which is why she has asked me to do the changes. I appreciate any info and advice. Thank you.
