    Default Grayed-out Pages

I use Acrobat 7.0 Pro on a Mac Quicksilver, OS 10.3.9. I have several hundred .pdf documents (journal articles) that I have downloaded from my university in doing research. I have just noticed that three of these open, but all the pages are uniformly gray, showing no text or graphics. In two of the documents, the thumbnails are also gray, but in one case they show text and graphics, while the pages remain gray. Mac OS permissions don't seem to be involved.

    Anyone know what's going on?

    Thanks.

    Default Re: Grayed-out Pages

Check your Page Display options under Acrobat/Preferences - also in the
PAGES tab, REMOVE EMBEDDED THUMBNAILS - this will automatically rebuild
them since the tab is open
