Green Screen - Any Tips?
Tomorrow I will make my first attempts at green screen photos.
I use a digital camera (Nikon 5700), will have the digital green background, and will be using backgrounds from CD's designed for use with green screen.
The only instructions I have found pretty much says hit the green with the magic wand (no recommendations on the settings to use) and slide in the background.
Sounds too easy.
Any one do any green screen photo stuff and care to share your preferred method and or approach ?
Thanks,
Ralph

Re: Green Screen - Any Tips?
Ralph,
The magic wand may work fine. If it's me, I'd set it at 100% tolerance and depending on the image composition, probably do Non-Contiguous. You can also Blend that green out to transparency, depending on the shade of green. If you don't know how to do that, come back and ask you'll get help. But for a really, really cool technique, check out Russell Browns Tutorial <http://www.russellbrown.com/body.html> on using the Magic Wand in Concert with the Extract Filter. It's pretty dern neat and may be just what you need.
Peace,
Tony

Damn. Wish the forum would bring back the Edit feature. Sigh.
Anyway, the actual link to Russell Browns tutorial is here:
