GUI startup 5.0.6 - SCO

    explanation:
    by default, sco's answer to xdm is started up on tty02 (console 2)
    at boot and the console is switched to it.

    Ctrl-Alt-F1 switches you to console 1, that is, tty01

    there you can log in and run "scologin disable"
    which shuts down the current X processes on tty02 and removes it from
    the system boot scripts as well.
    from then on, you boot to a plain text login on tty01 and tty02 is
    just another plain text login along with tty03-tty12

    you don't need to press Ctrl-Alt-F# to switch to the other screens
    now, just Alt-F# is enough, though Ctrl-Alt-F# works too. Ctrl-Alt-F#
    is only needed to switch away from an X session.
