Hello All,
Forgive me for just balling in, I have searched the site and the forums but
cant find a direct answer.

I am capturing footage direct by SDI to IMX MPEG2 at 50 mbits/s then will be
encoding to 3 different h264/aac+ .mp4 formats. I am also generating xml
metadata for all content. Flash is the media player.

I am a video encoder and will be encoding hundreds of hours of video into
H.264 video + AAC-HE (or aka HEE+).
So far I am considering the .mp4 format as the wrapper, but also considering
..mov possibly.
Playback will be inside a flash player at full SD, and maybe later in HD.
I have tested the following h264 encoders so far.

MainConcept
Nero Digital
Apple
Xenon Encoder
Soreneson
and soon ATEME

I have yet to find an encoder that places the MOOV element at the front of the
..mp4 file, which allows progressive download playback. You must use a third
party tool to do this. There is a very nice AIR app out there I must say!

I am looking at highend/volume apps like flipfactory, anystream, digital
rapids etc but still I have not got any answers regarding how to do encode .mp4
with the moov right the first time!

Is there any hardcore encoding details availble for H.264 playback with Flash.
Test so far regarding quality, file size and playback etc. is favoring
MainConcept closely followed by apple.
Is there any advantage in using a .mp4 file over a .3gp or .mov in flash now?

Thanks for your time
