Hakok plugin for 3DS Max 8?
I'm currently on my second tutorial that has told me to export my hke file from
3DS MAX.
The problem is that I don't have it installed and when I went to look for it a
few days ago, I was told on one site that Havok hasn't been available for Max
since version 5 because of certain rights. Is this correct?
Are all of the tutorials I'm reading that outdated?
If not where could I get this plugin for max?

Yes, this is correct. You have to do all Havok work by code. You will not be
able to ouput a HKE file from 3DS Max 8. Either use Plasma or an earlier
version of 3DS Max.
Go to the Director Online User Group and check their Havok documentation.
