hardwire problem
I thought I sent this earlier, if it is a repeat I am sorry.
I've set up a Cat5 hardwire link between my two computers, both with 10/100
cards. I can successfully ping from the HomeXP computer but not from the
ProfessionalXP comp. By the way, the addresses are as 'close' as I'd
expected them to be: HomeXP is 169.254.68.10 while Pro is 169.254.79.112,
both have same subnet, for what it's worth.
I can also 'see' my printer etc but everything fails to print.
I'd appreciate any advice.
