Havok and the element of chance.
Greetings!
I am using Havok to imitate the billiards and noticed this peculiarity:
For example we have three balls located in the specified positions. The fourth ball hits these three balls. After that we fix the exact position of the scattered balls.
Now we try to do absolutely the same experiment on another computer. The initial conditions are the same - the same position of the balls, same power of impact, etc. But the positions of the balls after the impact with the fourth ball will be absolutely different! In other words there is no recurrence.
It is mentioned in the Havok documentation, that some random constituent is added to make the objects behavior more realistic.
The question is how to disable that (adding this random constituent) - I need the physical model to produce absolutely the same output with the same initial conditions.

You can't Havok is a dynamic system this was mentioned by one of the Havok
people on another list a couple of years ago, I don't have the quote handy
but if you want confirmation email Havok themselves.
