    Default hbox of vertical groups?

    In trying to align my form controls, I attempted to use an hbox formgroup to
    get two sets of vertical formgroups to align side-by-side. This failed, but I
    was able to achieve the desired effect by changing the vertical formgropus to
    vbox formgroups. The documentation says, 'vbox: aligns children vertically.
    Use this type to arrange groups of controls vertically. DO NOT USE this
    attribute to align individual controls vertically, as the child controls will
    not align properly; use the vertical type instead' (emphasis mine). Is the
    documentation in error or is the 'vertical' formgroup not behaving properly
    when inside an hbox? Sample code follows:

    <cfoutput>
    <cfform name="foo" action="foo.cfm" method="post" format="flash"
    skin="haloSilver" width="625"
    timeout="1800" height="300">
    <!--- Not working as I would expect --->
    <cfformgroup type="hbox">
    <cfformgroup type="vertical" width="200">
    <cfinput type="radio" name="bob" value="one" />
    <cfinput type="radio" name="bob" value="two" />
    </cfformgroup>
    <cfformgroup type="vertical" width="300">
    <cfinput type="radio" name="bob" value="three" />
    <cfinput type="radio" name="bob" value="four" />
    </cfformgroup>
    </cfformgroup>

    <!--- Does what I need, but not what I would expect according to the docs
    --->
    <cfformgroup type="hbox">
    <cfformgroup type="vbox" width="200">
    <cfinput type="radio" name="bob" value="one" />
    <cfinput type="radio" name="bob" value="two" />
    </cfformgroup>
    <cfformgroup type="vbox" width="300">
    <cfinput type="radio" name="bob" value="three" />
    <cfinput type="radio" name="bob" value="four" />
    </cfformgroup>
    </cfformgroup>
    </cfform>
    </cfoutput>

    No that is correct. The vertical/horizontal are for aligning just the
    fields. Were the HBox/VBox are for aligning groups of form fields. What that
    means is the vertical is not a form field group, so the HBox is not applied
    to these groups. That's why the 2nd example of HBox and VBox works. For
    fields other then radio buttons, you may also need a vertical group inside
    the VBox group too.

    Thanks, Mike, I appreciate the response.

    I think that I get it now, it just takes a little trial-and-error to figure out.
