Head-scratcher text problem
This is not a huge deal, but In CS, if you select some text and change the fill to none, then copy and paste it, the fill in the new text always pastes as black. If the text is given a fill of any color OTHER than none, it pastes correctly. I used to make hanging indents the lazy way using this technique but now I can't! Anybody else seen this?

Hmmm. I would call this a bug.

Re: Head-scratcher text problem
Hmm. I set some point text, select it all either with the type tool or the DS tool
(doesn't seem to matter), set the fill to None, press command-c, press command-v,
and I get a copy with a fill of None. No bug there.
If I try to paste that text into an already created area type block, it comes in as
black. That's maybe a bug. But maybe the block is "pre-coded" with a default fill
color? So if the pasted text has a fill of none, it's assigned that default? And this
behavior is only overriden if the pasted text has some OTHER fill assigned? I don't
know. Just a thought.

Re: Head-scratcher text problem
Taking this a little further select the type tool select a fill color then draw a text frame and you have a black fill and a stroke of none.
Doug is correct!
Now the question is is this a bug! So I agree with you guys maybe this is a bug.
Also have never notice but in the character palette or the paragraph palette you cannot select a color for the text? Why?
BTW if after drawing a text frame and you can the fill to none and then paste you will get no fill color for the pasted text. Not ideal though.
