Heavy downloading 'simultaneously' through two leased lines
Hi,
Frequently we need download heavy files (single file
weighing more than 400MB) across our leased lines (128
KBps) from our remote server (which has a far better
bandwidth connection than ours).
We have two such leased lines connected to two Windows
2000 servers. One of them is the PDC and other a member
server. All clients are Windows XP professional and
connect to remote server through MS proxy client. Both
servers are capable of serving as MS Proxy servers.
Since the file size is quite high, I just had an idea of
having simultaneous download in both leased lines so that
net download time can be reduced. But i am stranded
without the knowledge for implementing it.
Can any one help me out how to do it?
Thanx a ton in advance,
Regards,
Narayanan

RE:Heavy downloading 'simultaneously' through two leased lines
Hi,
it is better to utilize one line and then use download
accelerator tools to do the job. you cannot squeese more
than what is possible with the bandwidth.
