    Default HELLPP

I am running win xp professional and when my computer starts up it asks me
to click on a stupid picture to get into windows not like me or 98 which
just boots straight into windows, and also every now and again it tells me
that my password expires in 14 days and I have to reset my password to stop
it, all I want to do is get rid of all this so windows just boots straight
    into the desktop, any advise

    cheers Dave

    Hi Dave,

    1. Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2 and press ok.

    2. On the Users tab, clear the Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To
Use This Computer check box and then click OK.

    3. In the Automatically Log On dialog box that appears, type the user name
and password for the account you want to be logged on each time you start
    your computer.

Add Control UserPasswords2 to the Control Panel (Line 1)

For the latter mention: Go to Start/Run/CMD and type:
    net accounts /maxpwage:unlimited.
