HELP - Can't process .cfm files on local machine - Coldfusion Server Administration

I am running CFMX 6.0 on Windows 2000 Server, SP4. I installed CF in c:\cfusionmx directory. I have a Outpost firewall enabled. I get this error when I open administrator (c:\localhost:8500\cfide\administrator\index.cfm) -- java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: java.lang.SecurityException: Cannot set up certs for trusted CAs (stack is too long to post.) This is in IE and Firefox. I tried installing CF 6 as CF 7 installer has given me problems (like 99% of other developers it appears!) Thanks in advance....

Did you look at this kb article? http://www.macromedia.com/go/98b88caa

Yes I found that a while ago. Forgot to check off my post though :) Thanks for
that.

question though: does CFMX 7.0 have a similar issue? If I hadn't updated the
..lib files and installed version 7 (after 20 attempts to download it) would I
have the same issue for the same reason? (follow that?)

Thanks

I don't think so, because MX7 should be shipped with a later JRE version. If you did run into a similar problem, you could always download a newer JCE version from sun's site.
