Help - digital transfer of 35mm film - Photography

Hi all... I'm looking at purchasing some 35mm rolls of b/w archive material and would in turn like to scan the rolls and transfer to CD.... I've done a bit of online research and would welcome any feedback on personal experiences with the multitude of film scanners available (ie Primefilm 1800AFL etc) Thanks in advance Pete -- ....to reply please remove PANTIES - in the reply to address that is ;o)...
