Help! Expression Builder!!! Sorting!!!! So Confused
I am having trouble in a few areas working with Access 2007. Working with queries!
First issue: Trying to pull criteria of only AM (not AM and PM) from a field When I input AM in the criteria field, I get no returns. Any suggestions. +
Second Issue: Trying to pull total number of products from each state. I don't understand how to sort things so that only a total number will appear for each state instead of each state. Ex. 3 products in Cali. Instead of Cali showing three times just show Cali and 3.
Third issue: trying to calculate a field as NewPrice...Need to use the IIF function so that "IIF Price is less than Cost, then set the New Price field to be 9% more than cost, otherwise set the NewPrice field to be equal to price."
I can somewhat picture the layout in my head but get completely confused when I go to enter it!
Any assistance would be helpful. This is due tomorrow and I have been working on things for a week straight with little help from people that know what they are talking about. I would really appriciate any suggestions.
Thank you!
