HELP!! - I'm Struggling - Macromedia Dynamic HTML

I'm new to Dreamweaver and I'm struggling. On one page I have created Spry Tabbed Panels (with 4 tabs) on which there are a number of links to an 'external' page. From this 'external' page I have a hyperlink to return to the original position on the Tabbed Panel. The code I have managed so far takes me back to the correct vertical position, but always on the 1st. Panel. <a href="javascript :history.back()" class="style3"> Return </a></div> Can someone please tell me what I need to add to this to ensure it returns to the correct panel - eg 2, 3 ...

    Default HELP!! - I'm Struggling

I'm new to Dreamweaver and I'm struggling. On one page I have created Spry
Tabbed Panels (with 4 tabs) on which there are a number of links to an
'external' page. From this 'external' page I have a hyperlink to return to the
original position on the Tabbed Panel. The code I have managed so far takes me
back to the correct vertical position, but always on the 1st. Panel.

    <a href="javascript:history.back()" class="style3">Return</a></div>

Can someone please tell me what I need to add to this to ensure it returns to
the correct panel - eg 2, 3 or 4. Or is there a way of doing this without
writing code - which I obviously haven't found yet.

    Thanks for your help.

Look at this page. He has a tutorial on how to do what you are asking for but
using the accordion. One of the users who replied to this article state they
got the tutorial to work with tabs.

    panel/

Let me know if it helps.

John1940, I faced the same issue and after some puzzling I've been able to get
it working. The article jphilapy pointed you too tells you how to link to a
specific Spry tab, but it doesn't tell you how to link from the destination
page back to the specific tab a user was on when they clicked the link that
took them to the destination page. That's the piece I had to add. I'll post the
info over in the Foundation PHP tutorial thread, cuz people were asking about
    it over there too.
