Help: Illustrator EPS -> Microsoft Word -> Adobe Acrobat PDF
I have a vector image that needs to go into a Microsoft Word document. This document will be both viewed on screen, and printed. This same document will also be used to generate a .pdf version.
Issue:
1) EPS image that is imported to Word (insert>picture>from file) is very fuzzy.
2) Generating the .PDF (print>save as .pdf) produces a fuzzy image AND the colors get whacked out.
Background:
The image is a simple 2 color image. Currently each color is a spot color, global. The image uses the same color w/different T-values. (Same results if the color is changed to process/cmyk. Many combinations tried).
Thank you in advance for your help.

PNG is not vector but works best in Word.

Illustrator 10 nor Photoshop 10 have .png as an option.
(I do not have access to Illustrator CS)

Re: Help: Illustrator EPS -> Microsoft Word -> Adobe Acrobat PDF
Illustrator 10 does have PNG as an option. Try Save For Web or Export.
Photoshop 10 will, when it is released in a few years, still support PNG. For now, you can use the PNG features of whichever version of Photoshop you are using, I have 6 myself.
Oh, and let us get our terminology straight. It's "Microsoft Worst", not "Microsoft Word".
If you have a program without Microsoft in its' name, try that one. It is better.
