HELP ME FAST PLEASE! Open FH11 with FHMX

How can I open a FH11 doc with FHMX??? It says "this is not a valid FH document" ... PLEASEEE HELP ME!! URGENT!! Thanks

It would help if you would state your platform and operating system and that
of the person who gave or sent you the file.

The most frequent problem is that the file was damaged when sent as an email
attachment.

Another possiblity is that the file was corrupted during it's last save.
That has happened to me once, and I've heard of it happening to others. In
my case, the file ended up being just a few KB in size; not enough to hold
the data that should have been in the file. You might check the file
properties and see if it looks large enough to hold it's content.
BTW, in your first post, you wanted to open a fh9 doc in FHMX; in the
second you are asking about opening a fh11 doc. Are you trying to open
both?

My friend mailed me a FH11 doc - she's using MAC.
I have FH MX and i'm using WINDOWS Platform...

My friend mailed me those 2 files in attempt that I could open it...

It was impossible in both.

I believe that problem is in the last save or in the e-mail... Can you PLEASE
help me to resolve this matter if this is the really the problem?!

If the problem does lie in the email transmission, you might try having
your friend compress the file with Stuffit or MacZip before sending. You
can download a free Aladdin Expander at aladdinsys.com to open the archive
once you receive it.

I don't think the problem could be from corruption during save, since your
friend has saved (or exported) and sent it twice.

Success!!

Hi!! Just wanted to THANK everybody who tried to help me! BTW, my friend seems
to be also newbie in sending FH docs... she made JPEGS and mailed it to me...
Everytime I need to change anything she'll be asked to do it.... That's the way
she found better... but it worked! ;)
