Help -- Opening file
I recently installed PS 7.0. How do I reset my options when opening a file?
Right now, all of my jpeg files automatically open in Photo Shop. I want to reset so I can open a photo image simply in a windows environment.
Thanks.

Re: Help -- Opening file
in windows explorer select a jpg image. right click (or shift-right click, depending on what windows version you have) and choose "Open with...". Select a program to use from the list (or choose browse to select an unlisted program) and check the "always open with this app" box. Hit ok.

Re: Help -- Opening file
"Windows environment"?
Files must open in a program when double clicked:
Quick way is, in Win Explorer or My Puter:
Shift+right click in Win9x (no shift necessary in XP)
Open With
Select program
Make sure "always open with this program" is selected.
This may or may not change the icon for the filetype to what you want.
If you want to do that also, you must go into Folder Options/File
Types/Edit to change icon. You can also do the entire process here also.
