    I think I found what I'm looking for...but can't get it to work...the
    Macromedia Flash Ad Kit...you know, what is used on the expandable ad
    banners...

    that sounds pretty easy.. just 2 frames with a stop(); action on
    each..

    FRAME 1: small banner with clickable mouseEvent gotoAndStop(2);

    FRAME 2 : larger page (appears as tho stage has expanded)

    the stage size will be set to the size of the larger (frame 2) part of
    your flash. background color (in the HTML setup for your flash) should
    be set to transparent, and you need to stick the flash on a css layer,
    so it expands / drops down (frame 2) over the rest of the web page.

    is that clearish?
