I have run into a really weird problem with one company that we send artwork to for printing.
Basically I export a pdf out of InDesign CS3 mac using High Quality print settings or PDFX-1A:2001 (tried them both) and send them the file. The printer can print one copy on their digital printer (Business Pro 650. Sometimes called a CPP650 by Konica Minolta) to proof for the client and everything is fine. But if they try to print more than one copy the printer stalls and spits out this error message "Serial packet rejected by copier ASIC error sending print raster." And from that point on the Konica will not print anything else until it gets rebooted. It just keeps giving that error message. Once rebooted the other jobs will print.

Weird thing is that this only happens when they get files from our office (not just from my workstation but any files from our office). Does anybody have any ideas as to what would cause this problem? I have tried different settings and even printing to a postscript file and distilling to a pdf but still a print problem shows up.

This is the only printer that has troubles with my files and they are a really good client so I want to keep them happy.
