Anyone know of freeware or shareware spyware for a Mac PPC? WHen I'm
entering email text, the text appears on the screen in delayed spurts and
is running like molasses when I'm connected to my ISP. But when I work off
line, it runs as fast as I can type. It's almost like each keystroke is
    being echoed.

I'm using Eudora Lite 6.0 under OS 8.6 on a PPC. I've tried all the
published tips to speed it up with no change. The problem started when I
upgraded 50 Eudora 5.9 and contnues to the current version. Since I'm a
"free" user, I get no email ro phone support. I've posted to the Mac Eudora
NG have have not gotten any useful guidance to solve the problem.

TIA for any help, suggestions, tips.

Yes, look at SneakyMacSpyProgram, which costs $15. After you register,
the app will spy on you for a full year. ;-)

Keystroke logging wouldn't be noticable. I'm sure your problem lies
elsewhere, though where I'm not sure, as I haven't used anything but OS
    X in a long time.

Run ProcessWatcher PPC to assure yourself that there is no

The only spyware for Mac OS that I ever heard of was some of the older
    versions of RealPlayer.

Eudora is at 6.1.1. It makes no sense to stick with a x.0 version when
you're having troubles with it and something newer is available.

IIRC one of the recent versions included a fix for some network issues
that could result in behaviour like this.

Upgrading to Mac OS 9.1 (assuming Mac OS X 10.2 or up is out of the
question), which I believe has better network code would also be a good
    idea.

    To all who have replied,

Thank you for your tips and suggestions. I'm probably making a wrong
assumption here, but I only have the "slow typing" problem with Eudora when
I'm connected to my ISP. Off line it works at speed.

I also use a Yahoo email account and have no slow down when typing/composing
messages. They are, of course, two different pieces of software with likely
different approaches to processing keystrokes. Again, thanks for everyone's
    help.

    Best regards,

    Manjo
