HELP!!! Update from Illustrator 5.5 to 8.0
A few years ago I had Illustrator 5.5 on an older MAC and had bought Illustrator 8.0 (never installed it). Now I have a G4 MAC and installed my old copy of 5.5, but when I tried to UPGRADE to my 8.0, I got a message saying I needed 6.0. Is there any way around this? When I bought the 8.0 thru mail-order they told me I could upgrade to 8.0. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
