Help with a dashed stroke
How do I retain dashes when expanding a dashed stroke? When I choose Expand Appearances, Expand Stroke and Fill, or Outline Stroke, the dashed strokes revert back to solid lines.
I'm using AI10 in Win2000 sp4.
Thanks!

Re: Help with a dashed stroke
Danny,
Try expanding just the fill, not the stroke.

Re: Help with a dashed stroke
Danny,
in case you want to convert the dashed line into single filled objects take the old Flatten transparancy trick. Choose 100 % Vector and enable the checkbox of the first option (something like "convert strokes to fills").
