Help with CFObject & Crystal reports
We are trying to export crystal report files using the com object method and
have run into a problem.
<cftry>
<cfobject class="CrystalRuntime.Application.9" action="connect" name="cr">
<cfcatch>
<cfobject class="CrystalRuntime.Application.9" action="create" name="cr">
</cfcatch>
</cftry>
<cfscript>
crEFTPortableDocFormat = 5;
crEDTDiskFile = 1;
rpt = cr.openreport("C:\report.rpt");
rpt.DiscardSavedData();
crExportOptions = rpt.ExportOptions;
crExportOptions.DiskFileName = "C:\Exported.pdf";
crExportOptions.FormatType = crEFTPortableDocFormat;
crExportOptions.DestinationType = crEDTDiskFile;
rpt.RecordSelectionFormula = "{tblServiceOrders.SONumber} = 800145";
rpt.export();
</cfscript>
it seems to be hanging on the export function.
I have tried rpt.export(false); and get " The cause of this exception was
that: AutomationException: 0x80020005 "
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Help with CFObject & Crystal reports
I have since added :
rpt.database.LogOnServer("PDSODBC.DLL", "TigerpawSQL", "Tigerpaw", "sa", "password");
but I still get login failed for user 'sa'.
