I need some help with coldfusion! I'm a final year student in IT but i
am not working in a IT related field thus got no mentor to assist me
with the project. I chose a website with e-commerce as a project with
oracle as a database and coldfusion to bring the database to the website?

Q1). What is the best way to create a log on for a customer to the site,
to use a specific e-commerce program to govern the login and
registration or to use coldfusion to submit it to the database and to
login in the future?

Q2). How do one restrict access to certain files or products according
to log on, do i use a specific e-commerce program to apply this security
or do i use coldfusion/database to apply this security, and how is this
implemented if the files/products are not part of the database but just
files in a file server? Only the file/product description is stored in
the database.

Q3). Can you have different log ons for management to update the
database thought the same website as the customers uses, is this
possible and how is this implemented?

Q4). If i need to use a separate e-commerce package, what is a good
inexpensive one?
