help with edit function

Incredibly stupid question, but I cannot use the edit funciton on my contribute
3 program. When I click on the edit key, it says that it is creating a draft,
but I never get the draft to do edits on.

any suggestions?

I'm using contribute 3 on windows xp

Try clearing the preferences of Contribute and try the same scenario again.
You can clear the Contribute 3 preferences by running reg delete
HKCU\Software\Adobe\Contribute 3/f and also delete the Contribute 3 folder
inside C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Macromedia\. Hope this solves your problem.

Try deleting your draft page. If you look on the left side of your contribute
page you will either see an arrow about half way down or you will see the draft
console click either and delete your draft.
