Help with placing flash files in DW

I figured out how to create a flash button that changes on rollover. Now I want
to bring it in to Dreamweaver.

However - in Dreamweaver I create a layout table. Then I select "insert" -
"media"- "flash" and import the flash file. It comes in, but completely ignores
the layout table - and is a huge gray box with the F (for Flash) icon in the
center. I hit the "play" button and the big box changes to the actual button.

2 questions:

why does the flash file take up so much room in the layout table (before I hit
"play"), and can tables be used to layout where the flash goes? How do people
get those tight little flash menus happening?? Am I exporting the flash file
incorrectly?

Why not just create your Flash buttons in Dreamweaver? Go to the insert menu and choose MEDIA>FLASH BUTTON and fill in the parameters
