help with slicing and text
Hello and thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
I'm new to fireworks and I'm trying to figure out the best way to slice my pages. I'm also trying to figure out the best way to add text using an html editor (dreamweaver) after making the page in fireworks. Up until now, I've been trying to use the left over pieces that didnt get sliced for entering text, but I'm running into problems. Someone please hit me over the head and show me what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks,
Nate

Re: help with slicing and text
Hi, Nate!
You should probably check out the "Text Slice" function in FW. It's in the help files under slices>text. This allows you to export specific areas as html slices allowing later editing of the html text in your editor.
Hope this helps!
