Hi Res PDF from Quark 6.5
Mac 0S 10.3.9
Here is what I do when I create a PDF from Quark 6.5:
Open the Quark file and select print.
Then I choose Adobe PDF as printer.
Settings for PDF.
Resolution 300, 600 or 1200 dpi.
Now here are my questions -
Is there a better way to make a PDF so you can
be more specific about what you want? If so - how?
Should there be settings in Distiller that I need
to attend to and change, such as compression?
I have Acrobat 6.0 Standard.
Thank you so much!
Julie

Re: Hi Res PDF from Quark 6.5
If you're using the Adobe PDF printer, you should be able to select your Distiller settings file. In the OS X Print dialog box click on the popup menu that shows Copies & Pages and select PDF Options. Select your Distiller setting there.

Re: Hi Res PDF from Quark 6.5
Hi Steve -
Thanks for the quick response.
I don't see a popup menu with Copies & Pages.
Would this be from when I print from Quark?
