Default Hiring Professional Flash Animator

I need a very talented animator to make a series of animated cartoons for the
website "TreasureTrooper.com". Storyline has already been planned out, mostly.
Pay would be $30-$50 per episode, and would increase dramatically depending on
outcome of first episode. AIM at Someoneawful, MSN at justintec4444@msn.com,
or email at kaabinator@gmail.com about this exciting offer.

ummm - did you forget a few zeros?
$30-$50 would get you a phone call or two if you are serious about a "very talented animator" -
unless you are thinking each episode will only take about 1 hour to complete.

How much money do you normally charge to do similar with mudbuddle animation?

Just in case, I dont want to fool myself underquoting candidates to do some cartoon animations.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I tend to charge $55 an hour for any
Flash-related work. I recently animated a cartoon parrot for an 18-second
clip. It took one hour to design the character and 6 hours to animate the
motion, which consists of the bird glancing back and forth a few times,
stretching out its wings, making a huge yawn, then settling down again.
That's a total of seven hours for 18 seconds at 24fps = $385. The final
animation length in seconds or minutes, is, of course, dependent on a
variety of factors, including complexity of motion and framerate.

I think so, too. ;) Bear in mind, a person's per-hour fee is some
conglomeration of the developer's skill, talent, experience, and financial
needs. It's always a good idea to shop around. I just felt personally that
$30 to $50 per episode is low for practically anybody.
