Home Networking Issue- Please Help
Hi, I have 3 computers at home, a laptop &2 desktops. I
have win xp home (main desktop), whin 98(laptop) and win
2k SP3(2nd desktop). The three computers are connected to
a hub via Ethernet cables. The cable modem is also
connected to the HUB, but in the slot that says "To HUB".
With this currenct set-up I can access the internet
through the Main Computer, but not the others. The main
computer is set for Internet Connection Sharing, but won't
work? (Used wizard, but no luck). The other problem I
have is that my laptop can see the 2nd desktop but neither
can see the main desktop or access each other. Also, the
main desktop says that the network is unaccesable whenever
searching through My Network Places. The workgroup on all
is set to MSHOME and it still won't work. IP address
acquisition is automatic and i can't think of anything
else to do, please can anyone help?
Thanks So Much,
-RG
