Default Horizontal Scroll Issue with CSS

I have an issue with a horizontal scroll at www.armissions.org/index2.php.
My CSS document looks as follows:

/* CSS Document */
#nav {
position:absolute;
width:175px;
height:100%;
z-index:1;
background-color: #FFCC33;
border-right-width: 4px;
border-right-style: solid;
border-right-color: #000000;
left: 0px;
top: 0px;
}

#banner {
position:absolute;
left:176px;
top:0px;
width:100%;
height:150px;
z-index:2;
background-color: #99CCFF;
layer-background-color: #33CCFF;
}

Thanks

Dave

That may be, however in this newsgroup we deal with Macromedia Director, not the
problems browsers have with CSS. And when you do find a more helpful ng, please
tell them what the issue is (if you can't find the solution in that ng).
