Default Host Name & Cable Modem

    Hello,

I am new to linux and had just install Red hat 9.0. I want to change the host
name from localhost.localdomain to a name of my choice. How do I do this? I
also have a cable moderm which is connected to an NIC, I can't get it to work.
Can anyone teach me how to set it up please?

    Thanks.

Read the RG docs. They should have something on this.
    Next use redhat-config-network-[gui|tui|druid|cmd] as
    root.

    Hi Kissi5559,

You may want to familiarize yourself with the user manual at:

Can you tell us more about what you have tried so far and what problems you
    faced ?

    Later,
