Hosting Websites

Ok, im VERY new at making web pages/ putting them on the net, i want to make a
site, and im trying to put a test page on the site, but i cant seem to do it, I
want to host the site of my computer, so technically it schouldnt cost
anything... right? is this possible, well i would apprecitate any help i can
get, thank you

You could host it at home, but your ISP might have something to say about
that. You don't want to break their user agreement. To be safe, you could go
somewhere like Crystaltech.com, HostMySite.com and get one of their
lower-priced plans.
