Hot To: Create thumbnails?
I am using the Dreamweaver 6.1 Studio on WinXP.
This includes version 6 of Fireworks.
If I have a huge JPG image, I am trying to figure out how to create a nice small thumbnail as a separate file.
The help file does not indicate what steps I have to follow to create one.
The Dreamweaver forum indicates that Fireworks can do it.
Any one have any instructions for me?
Thanks In Advance.

Abobo,
Basically all you need to do is resize the image and save it with a
different name.
Modify > Canvas > Image Size. Play around with the size until you get what
you want.

Re: Hot To: Create thumbnails?
I have an extension called "Thumbnail Smasher" out in my garage. Essentially
it weighs about 1.5 lbs and is flat on one end and has a claw on the other.
:) It extends out about 14 inches from your hand. :)

You'd have to be really talented to smash your thumb with it. :-) :D

Re: How To: Create thumbnails?
I ran into a thumbnail drop-down menu in Fireworks the other day. It
gives you three or four size options and all it takes is a click. Now
if I could just remember where I saw it...I'll be back if I can find
it for you. --Melissa
