Default How can I create standard letter header images?

I work for a company and we want to start sending out more letters by email using pdf's. I was just wondering if there is a way to have a standard letter heading (as we have with our headed paper) within Acrobat. Any help would be very much appreciated.

One word of warning - pdf files are notoriously susceptible to contamination when sent by e-mail unless they have been compressed/zipped/stuffed.
