How can I restore my Linux boot? - Linux Setup, Configuration & Administration

    I reinstalled my Windows 2000, thus Linux can't boot any more.
    Could anybody tell me how to recover Linux/Windows dual boot
    using Linux installation CD?

    strange, windows 2000 keeps the multiboot

    Not strange at all, like all of Microsoft's Operating System products it
    overwrites the MBR without permission or notification. Microsoft's
    Operating system only keeps Microsoft's multiboot methodology.

    but XP Pro and 2000 Pro are not. I tried this 2 and I kept lilo.
    Perhaps it is because it's Pro
