How could make Coldfusion to work?

Hy,
I have a problem with ColdfusionMX... It does not work!
I have as system a Win XP professional and I have installed the Apache 2.0.54
web server.
I've alredy installed it for many times but it still does not work! If, during
the instalation process I choose the Standalone Web Server options it could be
started (i want to say that it recognize the browser "http://localhost:8500/"
command..) but if I choose to open the Administrator page (where all of the
settings are) it does not open it but open an error page with a syntax error!
But it does not tell me where is the problem and how could i solve it!
If I choose the Apache web server option (during the instalation), when I ask
for the administrator page it display a html page in which one can see the page
cods... I configured the Apache server and ColdfusionMX (according to the
Apache and ColdfusionMX HELP) to work together but without any results! After
I' ve installed the ColdfusionMX, stopped the Apache server and after that I
could not start it again (is telling me about some "jrun_mode"(?)
incompatibility).
Please tell me what could be wrong because I'have alredy installed in the same
manner in other system too (Win XP home edition), and the problem is the same!
If you can tell me why it does not work with the Apache server it will be
grate but most of all I want to know why it does not work as Standalone Web
Server!

Thanks for your helps, i;ve downloaded the cfmx60jce.zip files, followed the
instructions and now it works great!
In this case should i install the 6.1 version? Maybe i will try it...
