Re: how did i do this?
It will be extremely difficult for us to help out if we can't see the picture. Can you jump on a free provider real quick and upload to there? I'm not sure if Geocities and the like are still offering free ftp, but they used to. Hey, it's what I used before I owned any real webspace or domains. But we'd be happy to help with more information.

Re: how did i do this?
Go to geocities, get a homepage and put up the link.
Get a yahoo account and use your image as your profile photo.
There's a million and 2 ways to get a picture on the Internet. Figure out one. Very few people want files e-mailed to them by strangers. Virus' are EVERYWHERE and none of us can risk losing our computers.

Re: how did i do this?
hurraayyy i made it - please check out the image
<http://www.geocities.com/fractalflame/Fractal_Flame.html?1057775081869>
alright - here's what i did:
first of all i chose the original image (black background and grey,orange,yellow triangle pattern) and inverted it.
on this image i applied bas-relief (very little). i sharpened the inner triangle.
then i wnet into the channels and added some contrast/contour to each channel. lots of white to the red channel, the other two channels are alike (see on the link) (sorry - i had my wife take the screenshots - she forgot to un-click the red channel)
in fact that's all i did - i jaust can not get the brilliance and clarity anymore
hoping for help

Um...I'm a bit confused. Didn't you just answer your own question?

Re: how did i do this?
well - in fact you're right - the only problem is that i just can't get the brilliance of the image (in the link) anymore. for example i do not understand ho i created the three-color(shadow background under the blue and green channels. what disturbs me is the white between the black and the grey (shouldn't it be black, grey white ? ) maybe that's the solution? yet - how can i produce this?
