Default How do good lookin site keep file size down?

Designing my first site with two images, ten rollover buttons and projectseven dropdown menus, my site seems to get to 80k quickly. Any tips or tutorlials for keeping file size down would be appreciated.

    Michael,

It may come down to the size of your 2 images. Do you have a url we can
see. People will be able to troubleshoot better if they could see what you
    have.

Make sure that all your images are optimised as much as possible. What
programme do you use for your graphics?

Another question, how have you put the page together in dreamweaver? Layout
view/design view or have you coded it yourself. You may find you have a lot
of "code bloat" depending on how you put your page together.
