How Do I 3D a Shape that I Created in Photoshop?........
Hello All:
I have a image that I created in PS and I want to make that image 3D. However, when I open it in Illustrator the image -- a star -- is on a white background. I use the 3D effect and it makes the image into 3D but it makes the whole image 3d. I want to remove the white background and just 3D the star itself. I tried saving the PS image as a gif with a transparent bgnd but that didn't work. How do I do it?
Thanks!

Your artwork must be vectors. You can draw a star with the Star tool in Illustrator.
